Barcelona is the city with a highest ratio of motorbikes per capita as well as one of the better known cities for its love for the two wheels world. This is the reason why Barcelona largely deserved this specialized Motorcycle Museum.

Located in the so called Barrio Gótico whose architectonic attraction together with its strategic situation where thousands of people pass by every day, the museum is born with the aim to spread the motorbike culture covering every aspect of it. There were always be a permanent exhibition within their 600 square metres of display but especially specific exhibitions which will allow to disclose the world of motorcycling from every view point.

The facilities of the museum are prepared for lectures, meetings, presentations and specific activities will take place connected with the main events related to this world which affect the city of Barcelona. It has also an interesting shop where you can find original products and books related with motorbikes.

Therefore it is launched as new cultural landmark of the city which wants to become a must go visiting point, not only for the motorbikes lovers, but also for the general public which may want to discover a unique area in the heart of the city.

An emblematic place

The Barcelona Motorbike Museum is located in the ground of the former Saint Felip Neri Convent in one of the most emblematic squares of the ancient quarter of the city and, at the time, it was Antoni Gaudi's oratory.

This area has been rehabilitated keeping all their original architectonic elements and recovered its essence so it can be admired again.
