The origin of motorcycles Lutetia, manufactured in Barcelona, dates back to 1924. José Sugrañés, exclusive importer at that time of the auxiliary engines Lutetia (very popular in France), decided to build a complete motorcycle, equipped with this engine, which gave the name to the brand. Later on, other engines were used, as is the case of this unit of the Motorcycle Museum, equipped with English engine "Villiers".
With this original design, Lutetia quickly became a prestigious motorcycle, used only by those most privileged people of Catalan society and was the biggest dream for many young people in those years 20.
The entire production of this brand did not exceed the 25 units, so we dare to ensure that this is the only one still in perfect working order.
